In the Basic Seminar, Emilie will teach Pilates apprentices the Foundation, or “Beginner,” Classical Pilates exercises – and their modifications – on the Reformer, Cadillac, Mat, and Ancillary Apparatus.
In the 7 weeks between the Basic Seminar and the Intermediate Seminar, the following Additional Hours will be required:
20 In-Studio Observation Hours
20 In-Studio Self-Practice Hours
12 In-Studio Practice One-On-One Teaching Hours with Observation
10 Self-Practice Hours Outside of Studio
3 Private Sessions with Emilie (discounted @ $119/ea & not included in Seminar Price)
Weekly Zoom and/or In-Studio (Filmed) Meetings and Mentorship with Emilie Will Be Held Between the Basic Seminar and the Intermediate Seminar. The meetings will: cover apprentice questions about exercises and teaching them; include online, detailed anatomy + biomechanics lessons; and introduce Semi-Interactive Online Nervous System-Informed Teaching Presentations. These Online Nervous System-Informed Presentations will get more in depth as the program progresses into the Intermediate and Advanced Seminar hours.
The Nervous System Training will be open to Certified Teachers of any Somatic Modality. More details on what is included in Nervous System Training to come.
This will be the first of 3 Seminars in a 600-hours (minimal) Nervous System-Informed Comprehensive Classical Teaching Training Certification Program. Upon completion of all 3 Seminars, required studio hours, online lessons, and testing, apprentices will be fully Comprehensively Certified to teach Pilates in any forum, prepared to pass the National Pilates Certification Program Exam, and will have received training in the Nervous System-Informed Pilates teaching exclusive to Emile Miller and PilatesEmbodied LLC.
This training course is limited to 6 apprentices.
3 Private Sessions with Emilie are required to be invited for enrollment.
$3000: The Basic Seminar and the in-studio hours that follow, along with weekly meetings.
If invited to enroll, a $500 deposit will be required by September 1, 2023, with the balance due on September 20th, 2023.
If enrolled by September 1, 2023, and paid in full, the Basic Seminar will be discounted to $2700.
The entire Certification Course (including 3 Seminars, Observation + Practice Teaching Hours, Mentorship, and Adjunct Anatomy + Nervous System-Specific Training) is $7500* if paid in full by September 20th, 2023. *Please note required Private Sessions with Emilie are not included.
Though less discounted, apprentices may also choose to divide their payments into 3 and pay at the time of each Seminar.
